Don’t miss the Surplus Party: the largest amateur radio rally in Switzerland, where bargains and enthusiasts meet!
The Surplus Party takes place every year on the last Saturday of October in the multi-purpose hall in Zofingen (AG). Admission is free for all visitors. Would you like to exhibit? Book your table now!
The Surplus Party is held in the multi-purpose hall in Zofingen (JN37XG), on the campus of the Bildungszentrum Zofingen training centre.
By car
Plenty of parking spaces are available:
- “Siegfried” visitor car park: paid
- “Zofinger Tagblatt” visitor car park: free
- “Bahnhof” covered car park (station): paid
- Exhibitor car park (access only with the “Surplus Party” pass): paid
Parking
Around 1,000 parking spaces are available for the Surplus Party. The spaces directly in front of the hall are reserved for exhibitors and can only be used with a “Surplus Party” parking pass. These spaces are also pay-and-display (Saturdays until 12 noon). The pass gives access to the area in front of the hall but does not replace the compulsory parking ticket.
⚠️ Important restrictions
- The “Landi” car park is off limits to Surplus Party visitors
- Parking on lawns or unmarked areas is prohibited by the police
♿ Accessibility: reserved spaces are available in front of the hall for people with reduced mobility. There are also spaces for short-term loading and unloading.
Following the parking rules makes our volunteers’ work easier and keeps relations with the authorities good. Thank you for your cooperation!
By train
Zofingen is on the SBB line 501 Olten - Lucerne and is served by most express trains. When you arrive in Zofingen, walk south along the railway line. Go past the bus stops, take the underpass beneath the tracks on your right (heading west), then carry straight on to the multi-purpose hall (about 10 minutes on foot).
