How many watts actually reach the antenna? This calculator starts from the manufacturers’ data sheets (54 cables: RG, LMR, Ecoflex, Aircell, Ultraflex, Hyperflex, Heliax…) and takes into account SWR, connectors, temperature and the age of the cable. It also gives the peak voltage, heating, power rating, and a transmission line workshop: the real antenna impedance from a measurement in the shack, λ/4 and λ/2 lengths, quarter-wave transformer and receive noise.
